What is Extra Service?
At BCS Shalom Centre Marsfield we are able to offer clients an Extra Services option. This option is known as Premium Lifestyle Choice which provides our clients with a significantly higher standard of accommodation, services, meals and recreational activities. Our commitment to excellence in Christian care remains the same for all age care facilities provided by Baptist Community Services.
Extra Service offers increased choice and diversity in the aged care sector by providing clients with the option of paying an extra fee in order to receive additional services.
Not all age care facilities can offer extra services and only those approved by the Australian Government may do so.
What is offered at BCS Shalom - Premium Lifestyle Choice?
Our Premium Lifestyle Choice option includes the following:
- Large private client rooms and ensuites
- Provision of a chef for meal preparation
- Special areas provided for dining options
- Choice from a wide variety of main meals, snacks and beverages
- Lifestyle activities including sensory stimulation for clients with dementia
- Designer selected superior décor and furnishings
- Quality carpet to all client rooms
- Quality linen, glassware, crockery, cutlery and furnishings
- Superior brands of toiletries
- Large activities area
- On site café for clients and their families
- A Chapel for clients and their families
- Provision of services by a massage therapist, beautician and manicurist (fee for service applies)
