You don't maintain a reputation for excellence for more than 45 years, without passionate and dedicated staff. The BCS Shalom team is committed to personal, tailored care that enhances the lives of all the clients at the centre.

Manager of Residential Services, Janice Stokes.

janiceThe team is headed up by Janice Stokes.

Janice comes to BCS with many years in health care across four countries.
Her focus has mostly been at both ends of the life spectrum, specialising in Paediatrics earlier in her career and later in Aged Care. Janice, a Newcastle girl, first gained Aged Care experience commissioning a new facility in Carey Bay for a private provider. She then went to Uniting Care.

Her career and family then took her overseas for 15 years, managing a hospital in the Middle East and spending 9 years in New Zealand managing a large Aged Care Service for Presbyterian Support Services.

Janice has a passion for Quality and Leadership and has developed those strengths over the last two decades. Since returning to Australia 4 years ago she has settled back into Aged Care coming to BCS from Uniting Care. She is delighted to have the opportunity to be part of what BCS is doing in Aged Care and is highly motivated to make a positive and lasting contribution.
